Lake
Took Kane to the lake last night. Our first swimming this summer. He was a little hesitant at first but then had a blast. Isn't to big on the jet ski yet. He just wants to play with the key. But man he loved being in the water. At first he wouldn't put his feet down so we put his water sandals on and he was good to go. He had a blast. Of course Nikki made me get on the tube. I am a weakling and hate to fall off cause I can't get back on. But the guy pulling us was very nice. I only fell off twice. It was fun. I am glad I did it. Chris was smart enough not to even try. Kane had been wearing a pair of pink shades that were one of our cousins. So I finally got him some shades. They are a little big but he is proud of them. If I put mine up on the top of my head he copies me. It is funny. He is so much fun.

Crazy Week
Well I lost my job this week. Kind of crazy cause I really liked the lady and I got a great review two days before. She has some issues so I guess I am glad I am out of there. Been doing papers while Angie is in California. Already lost 4 lbs. But man getting up at 3am is tough. Only 3 days to go.
Last night we went to Chris' company picnic. It was fun. They have a buffet for the adults and kids. And they had a bunch of balls, Frisbees, and bubbles for the kids. That was cool. Kane loved the bluegrass band. He just kept staring at them. It was neat to see him taking it in. They had some fun with it also and started playing kids songs.
It was about 95 degree's. So it was a bit warm. Kane found some ice and boy did he have fun. That kid has something with ice and coolers. We tried to get him to stand in it but he kept pulling up his feet. Then when we would get it on his hands it would get cold and he would start slapping his hands trying to get it off. It was entertaining.

College World Series
We went to the College World Series to see the Gators play. But they forgot to play. They got beat pretty bad. I was cheering for them but wearing my Tennessee visor. Just had to suppose the SEC. It was the last season at Rosenblatt Stadium so that was kind of cool. It was a fun game and good experience. We sat next to a couple old timers that knew alot about sports so it was fun talking to them.

Fun day at Pioneers Park
Today I took Kane to Pioneers Park. We found a nature center on the trail that I didn't know about. It was alot of fun. They had turtles, birds, snakes, a bee hive, and fun stations for kids to play at. We even got a sticker. Then we started walking down the trail and found the nature playground. It was alot of fun. It had a big sand box with all sorts of toys. Kane loves that kind of stuff. It also had a log tunnel. It was really neat. Kane even got really close to nature when he fell in a snake hole. I thought he fell on his knee then realized his leg was all the way in the ground. Then we went and saw the eagle and the bird garden. Kane loves his birds. Then we stopped for some ice cream. When we got home we had to fill up the pool. It was a busy day then we cooked out and grandpa got Kane some Popsicles. So it was a great day!
