Tennessee Football 10/27/07

We had great seats for the game. We were only 30 rows up from the field. They played the overtime on our side of the field so that was awesome. It was an exciting game. I yelled so hard my throat hurt the next day. Chris about lost his arm when SC missed the field goal to win. I was so darn excited. Gotta love this game!

Tennessee Football Weekend 10/27/07

We went up to Knoxville, TN this weekend for the TN vs SC football game. It was a big game for the SEC. Chris had been really sick the last week and shouldn't have gone but he did and he was a trooper. He didn't complain until around 11 at night when it got down to the 40's and the wind was blowing. Doesn't sound cold for you in Nebraska but that is freezing here. Our friends are big SC fans. So we hung out with them before the game. After the game they weren't go happy. TN 27 SC 24! YEAH

Florida Gators vs Tennessee Vols 9/15/07

This was a bad day for me! It was 96 degrees and we were in the sunshine seats. That is actually the name for those seats. So you can only imagine. I now know what it feels like to wet your pants. But I didn't actually have to wet them. We bought shirts before the game and they ended up being our sweat towels. It was bad. But you need to support your teams. So we stayed til the end. Chris was actually very nice and didn't rub it in. FL 59 TN 20

We loved the Bahamas. Want to go back. We didn't have enough time to do all that we wanted to do. It was beautiful there.

Chris had to sing to me on the piano. I was embarrassed at first but it was alot of fun.

Thanks to everyone that traveled to our special day. We wanted a small wedding and it was perfect. I hope everyone enjoyed the day.

All over

Well we are back from the wedding and honeymoon. It has been a crazy two weeks. I have been trying to find time to do the blog but we just got back on Sunday afternoon and I had to go back to work right away. Lucky Chris has the week off. We had a great wedding. Couldn't have had better weather. The weather on our honeymoon was perfect also. The football game on Saturday wasn't so perfect. Chris' Gators made my team look like a bunch of wimps. But I guess we have next year.

They threw a wedding shower for me at work. You all know how much I love attention. NOT. But it was fun. Chris was working nights so he got out of coming. The funny part was that we invited they men and they seemed to have more fun then the girls. They were really excited that they got invited. I got alot of really good gifts. A friend here at work made me a cake and it was awesome.

Florida Football 9/1/07

Went to Florida this weekend. A lady at work had tickets for the Florida Gators football game that she couldn't use so we took them. Chris had never been to a game at the Swamp. It was fun. We spent the night with his aunt Becky in Jax. When we got to Gainesville he got to see a family friend that he hadn't seen in years. So that was nice. She was very nice and got us free parking across from the stadium. Her dad is a former coach for the University of Florida so we went and met him. That was fun for Chris. He had wanted to meet him for a while. I am glad that he finally got to meet him. He was really happy.

Wedding Progess

Things are finally starting to finish up. We ordered my wedding band and I was surfing the net and found the ring that Chris had wanted. It is the same design just instead of all gold it is gold with highlights. But I actually like it better then the all gold one. So that was exciting. We got his shorts and we got the wedding license and we already had my dress so now all we are waiting on is his shirt. Only 1 month to go. Can't wait for the day to get here and for the next day to come so we can leave on our cruise. It is extremely hot down here so I am hoping it cools down a little by then.

Safety Lesson for the Week

I would like to share with you the safety lesson for the week.
When wearing shoes with plastic spikes and stepping on wet wood make sure to step against the grain. Stepping with the grain can cause the following injuries, bruised, swollen, and scraped knees and ankles, bruised arms, and self esteem issues. So the key lesson is always step against the grain.

Went to the Dr on Friday and she said everything is great. She said I actually healed up faster then expected. She said things were already going again so she thinks we will be back in her office in Sept. She wants us to wait until then to try again but she doesn't think it will even take a month once we try again. We will see.
Man who would have thought that finding a neat men's wedding band would be so hard. It looks like we are going to have to get a custom ring made that won't be ready before the wedding. So we are going to get a plain band for now and talk to the jeweler on Friday about making the one he really wants.
I was going to surprise Chris with a cruise to the Bahamas but he found out about it. I was kind of bummed because I wanted it to be a surprise but at least this way I can find out what he wants to do on the islands so we can make plans.
