Loos Xmas

Loos Xmas party

Kane had a really good time. He loved having the little kids to play with. It was a bit of a drive but turned out to be a great location. The kids had room to run and there was plenty of room for everyone to eat. Kane got a wagon from grandma Loos and he loves it. He has ate his breakfast in it the last couple mornings. At first he just wanted to push it around. But now he has discovered he can push it over to things and get up on them. Little turkey! Cousin Krissy gave him some little blue slippers with dogs on them. It was so cute when I first put them on him he laughed. He loves them. We have been wearing those instead of shoes if we are just running somewhere. I am sure they are much more comfy. Thanks Krissy!

Kane in snow

Kane's 1st time in snow

My nephew Caleb came over and we went out to play in the snow. Poor Kane didn't know what to think with all his gear on. My friend Lezlie got him some really cool snow boots. Grandma Haar got him a coat and snow pants. He looked good in the gear but it was a bit big and bulky. For some reason he loved it when Chris would kick the snow. He laughed like crazy. He fell over once and just laid there in the snow. Didn't know what to do. It is kind of shocking that the dogs don't seem to mind the snow. Not to happy about going #2 in it. But they will run in it and play.

Decorating with my little elf...

Decorating with my little elf...

Kane was feeling a bit better this afternoon. Had been running a temp of 103 for the last two days. So I thought maybe we would hang up stockings and a couple Xmas things. My friend Rose hooked me up with a small tree that I could put up where Kane couldn't get it. Can't say the same for Izzy. She found it before I even had the ornaments on it. That would be all of the 7 ornaments that I own. It is a small collection but everyone is important to me. Kane found his cap from last year. We put it on and he wore it around all afternoon. He also found the Tennessee and Florida pacifiers that I had in a box. Man was he happy to see those. It was actually a fun time. Can't wait until he understands a little more.

Thanksgiving

Kane had his first Thanksgiving day feast. And he knew just what to do. He didn't like greenbean casserole. We will have to work on that. We had lunch with Great Grandma Loos and Grandpa Randy. It was nice. In the afternoon we went over to Grandma's for round 2. It was a long day. But a good one. It is great that Kane gets to know his Great Grandma's. He loves them both. Kind of bummed didn't get to see the cousins but there will be xmas.

Nana & Papa Visit

Nana & Papa came up to visit this weekend. Kane was glad to see them. He played outside with them alot. He got to stay home from school on Monday and Tuesday and go shopping and to the park. Two of his favorite things. We also went and got his first haircut on Saturday. He did really good. He barely moved. I was shocked. It was cute when she gave him the mirror to look at himself. He really checked it out. It looks good but I think I preferred the shaggy look. He looks so much older now. It was a nice visit and sad when they left. But we will get to see them again soon hopefully.
