Visit Home

It was nice to see everyone. The pizza party at Grandma's was great. Almost everyone was there. It was nice to get together more then once a year. Kane was in a bit of a mood but he had a long trip. Hopefully one of these visits everyone will get to see him happy because he is really funny. Right now he is in the living room screaming and making sounds. He discovered peek a boo with Grandma LouAnn. He was laughing so hard. It got to where she just had to say peek a boo and he would laugh. He also discovered sucking on Great Grandma Brady's chin. Disgusting I know... but it was funny. He also became very fascinated with hands on this trip. He has been kinda playing with his hands but now he studies them and really likes other people's hand. He also started to take notice of his toes. It was a quick trip. Hopefully we will have more time next time to spend with everyone. The flight home was not a fun one. Long story short they messed up my flights. We finally got home at midnight. I ended up having to take a flight into Florida and Chris drove down to get us. Kane did really well until the last hour. He screamed all the way through the safety presentation on the last flight but finally passed out. People on the plane were very understanding about it. It was a hard day when you are on your own. Next visit home Chris is coming with me. Kane was very excited to see his daddy. He was all smiles when Chris walked in. I was also happy to see him. That was the 1st time apart since we were married. Chris said it was really quiet in the house. But Izzy kept him company :)

Kane had his first flight on Thursday. He did great. I was really worried. He had one little crying fit for about 5 minutes but I finally got his bottle made and he was happy. He was the entertainment on the 2nd flight. They were loving him. He was laughing and flirting like crazy. He was playing peek a boo with the girl in the seat behind us. It was cute. We got lucky and had our own row of seats on both flights. It was a bit of work getting through the airport on my own with him but it went really smoothly. Lets just hope the flight home goes as good.
