Xmas
Kane had a great xmas. He is still a little fussy. Trying to decide if he is teething. He is fine and playing one minute then grouchy as heck the next minute. Little man driving us crazy. But I keep telling Chris look how cute he is.
Christmas morning was fun. Oh course he was up at 5:30 am. So I got him out of bed and went and sat on in the recliner with him as we do every morning while he completely wakes up. Right away he saw his little wooden table with instruments on it. He started pointing and said Whassss Thaaaa? So I let him down. He ran right over to it and started playing. We also got him a little recliner. Lately he has been trying to sit on everything. He likes his chair. He climbs right into it and chills. I am glad. Wasn't sure if he would actually use it.
Aunt Nikki seemed to have forgotten how small our place is and got Kane a big tent. So we had to rearrange his room and put it in there. He likes to be in it completely zipped up. Izzy of course is having alot of fun with it also. She likes to get under it. I left the room and came back and Kane was inside it flipped over. Didn't even phase him. He was still playing.
Grandma LouAnn got him a really soft football pillow. He loves laying face down in it and rubbing his face and head. It is funny to watch. He also got his own set of simpsons domino's. Seems strange but the boy loves them.
Nana & Papa Haar got Kane some really neat stuff. He was driving us crazy with the cow that makes animal sounds yesterday. They also got him a fishbowl that plays songs. Of course he likes that because it plays music. He puts the fish in the bowl and then sways with the music.
Overall it was a great xmas. I got to spend it with my family even though there was a blizzard. Thank goodness for 4 wheel drive vehicles. Was really bummed because we didn't get to see my nephews Caleb and Joshua. But I have a great little family and that is all that matters on xmas.

Loos Xmas party
Kane had a really good time. He loved having the little kids to play with. It was a bit of a drive but turned out to be a great location. The kids had room to run and there was plenty of room for everyone to eat. Kane got a wagon from grandma Loos and he loves it. He has ate his breakfast in it the last couple mornings. At first he just wanted to push it around. But now he has discovered he can push it over to things and get up on them. Little turkey! Cousin Krissy gave him some little blue slippers with dogs on them. It was so cute when I first put them on him he laughed. He loves them. We have been wearing those instead of shoes if we are just running somewhere. I am sure they are much more comfy. Thanks Krissy!

Kane's 1st time in snow
My nephew Caleb came over and we went out to play in the snow. Poor Kane didn't know what to think with all his gear on. My friend Lezlie got him some really cool snow boots. Grandma Haar got him a coat and snow pants. He looked good in the gear but it was a bit big and bulky. For some reason he loved it when Chris would kick the snow. He laughed like crazy. He fell over once and just laid there in the snow. Didn't know what to do. It is kind of shocking that the dogs don't seem to mind the snow. Not to happy about going #2 in it. But they will run in it and play.

Decorating with my little elf...
Kane was feeling a bit better this afternoon. Had been running a temp of 103 for the last two days. So I thought maybe we would hang up stockings and a couple Xmas things. My friend Rose hooked me up with a small tree that I could put up where Kane couldn't get it. Can't say the same for Izzy. She found it before I even had the ornaments on it. That would be all of the 7 ornaments that I own. It is a small collection but everyone is important to me. Kane found his cap from last year. We put it on and he wore it around all afternoon. He also found the Tennessee and Florida pacifiers that I had in a box. Man was he happy to see those. It was actually a fun time. Can't wait until he understands a little more.
